WeirdAndWired - Netlabel for weird electronic music
Banging
your head against the wall, while thinking of strawberry – ice-cream and
fluffy roadkill, which resurrects miraculously right in front of you.
Or
so the story of the sound of WeirdAndWired goes.
The
name of our project says it all. It’s supposed to be a platform for all
mad-heads out there, who are willing to share the products of their insanity for
FREE with the rest of the interested world and those, who are willing and able
to open their minds to the things we offer.
WeirdAndWired
is an autobahn of mind, which leads as unstraight as possible to..........well,
hopefully a different place.
It
was started in the first days of 2007 by Massju and Wolfseule, who can both
claim to set the standards very high, when it comes to weirdness. They are the
core of this greatest Netlabel-to-be, more or less. They decide, who will get
the enourmous privilege of joining the WeirdAndWired-Family. Just kidding. Do
not be afraid. They are soft-hearted and vain. They like everyone, who likes
them. Well, nevermind. If you feel the need to kick their asses, just write to:
matthias at matthias-heiderich dot de.
The
core of WeirdAndWired consists of sound, which is not to say, that we’ll
neglect the wrapping. Au contraire. Wrapping may be the wrong word, because we
appreciate the visual way of reproducing the world, as one sees it, (almost) as
much, as the musical way.
It’s
about cables, and keyboards, science and insecurity, waste and wooly things,
yellow teeth and red eyes, nets and neccessitiy, chances and accidents, crashes
and crushes, mistakes and moulinettes, neurons and cortex and the great
feeling, that sometimes the world does fit entirely in your ear.
WeirdAndWired is netlabel for electronic music. We provide our files in .MP3-format, you're free to download them under the following conditions.
Thanks to all people who support the netlabel-idea.
Set
it free: The storm in the wires!!
(This
phrase is stolen, though slightly adapted. Whoever happens to know, where we
stole it, gets an exclusive MP3.)
